Italy ?

If you mean in the NBA ? I doubt he'll ever be a major factor again and it doesn't seem like he's suited for a smaller role.

Not to me... seems to me that Marbury had fallen off the face of the earth 2-4 years ago

He hasn't liked him in Phoenix and since then Marbury's become even more (Please Use More Appropriate Word).

The footnote to Marbury's career is to serve as an expiring contract to help the Knicks get a good player.

That's about all he's capable of doing to help a team.

I'm a lol if he has a 20/8 season and the Knicks become a winning team without Isiah.

It's his last chance to turn things around. He'd be perfectly suited for D'Antoni's style.

Best destination for him would be a nice resort with a beautiful beach where he can enjoy his millions without the worries of playing in the NBA.

Whoever says Marbury is perfectly suited to D'Antoni's style is wront, because MArbury is not a pick and roll point guard. He's always been more about driving and finding the open guy (or more often shooting).

The first team that springs to mind is Houston.

PROS:
- He could be the 3rd scorer the team badly needs.
- As much as he loves the limelight, he needs to be out of it for a while. Playing with Yao and McGrady should take pressure off him.
- Alston is underrated, but Marbury is still more talented when his head's on straight.
- He's an expiring contract, so not a long-term commitment if he doesn't work out.

CONS:
- if he doesn't pan out, he's still expensive for the 1 year.
- Marbury & Francis together again ;)

He should get bought out and join Boston for the backup PG role, instead of Sam freaking Casselien. He will then come out in the pre-season and say: "Did 'chu see whut Ainge pulled off? Day sca'd now!"

Best case: He shuts his mouth, gets monster numbers in D'Antoni's system and gets traded.

Worst case: D'Antoni and Walsh decide to move in a different direction, and he is released and spends his days rolling doobies with the And 1 crew

I see you've already forgotten what coach he played for immediately before going to the Knicks, and how the much better the Suns were without him.
