I wouldn't trade a top 3 pick and RJ for Carmelo. I wouldn't trade a top 2 pick alone for Carmelo. I doubt Thorn would.

I agree with lurking no way Am I trading #1-3 for melo. #10 maybe.

if 10. trade that ish with RJ for melo.
if 1 - take beasley...start shopping RJ/Big package
if 2 - take rose and trade marcus or devin to make room for rose.
if 3 - i'd trade that with RJ for melo and camby. Rose and Beasley are guarantees. After them, you're just hoping. Brook lopez? im good. Might as well trade it for a proven player.

and no matter what pick, pick up a shooter in free agency.

If we get the #1 I take beasly and package rj and filler for another piece to add with our core, but if we are lucky enough to get picks 2 or 3 i say package that for Melo and Camby

just played espn's draft lottery/mock and won the first pick for the nets on only the 3rd try... then won it again on my 8th try.. so im feeling very luck for tongiht, this is (almost) as exciting as being in the playoffs (not really tho)
