I just scored 102 points in 20 minutes on 2k8

Post#1 » by phxfanatbirth » Tue May 27, 2008 4:02 am

Alright so my cousin came out for memorial day weekend and he wanted to play 2K8 with me. We started a game with 5 minute quarters. He was the Lakers and I was the Suns.

Well I just decided that I was going to score all my points with Stoudemire. I drove into the lane time and time again and I had 54 at the half.

With 1:45 left I only had 85 and at this point I was determined to break the century barrier. I got to 99 with 12 seconds left and I had posession. But I turned it over!!!! My cousin took a quick shot he made it and there was 5 seconds left on the clock. I decided not to call a timeout and inbounded the ball to Stat he ran past half court and took a 25 ft three to make 102 POINTS!!!! With FIVE MINUTE QUARTERS!!!!!!

Haha sorry if this is boring to y'all but I had to tell someone and since there's not much going on with the real Suns I thought i'd share.

I play this kid who always thinks he can get 100 on me when he gets going. It has never happened and I usually come back and beat him when he gets cocky at the half or end of third. So what I'm saying is that takes some offensive skill, congrats. Tell your cousin to learn how to play D.

How many points did you have with Amare?

Well that's one way to make sure he'll never want to play you again, i would of just left at halftime, screw putting up with that abuse.

LOL that's crazy. I usually score around 80 points but play defense like crazy blowing teams out by an average of around 50 points. I played a season and got bored real fast, not a real fan of sports game...

I know, my cousin was pissed. He was throwing double teams at me but it didn't matter because I would have stat take the full length of the court and just blow by his defenders and slam it home.

I was waiting for an Amare offensive foul at the end to get fouled out thus eliminating any chance of your 100 pt output.

Cheeser its a common name for guys "like you" lol, no offense, that dont play realistic basketball, IE, taking all the shots with the same player, dunking all the time, never run any plays, etc... It is common knowledge in the online community.

Use the plays, enjoy the game,

Anyone can score over 100 points if there is no fatigue on.
