I think we did this. Garnett is a better ball handler, a more skilled passer, and is a better shooter from everywhere but from 3, he has Rasheed's turnaround jumper +more post moves that Rasheed doesn't have.

I don't think that is particularly true. KG does not have more post moves than Sheed. He simply uses them more frequently.

Possible, I just can't think of Rasheed going to any moves on the block other than the turnaround, or a quick drop step.

I think all things equal, if you put both players down low, KG is a more potent scorer on the block.

Sheed actually has as varied and polished a post game as anybody not named Duncan. That's why it's such a damn shame all you ever see are him shooting 3's and fadeaway jumpers. Once every blue moon he'll decide to go to work down low and just make people look silly.

So much of the game is mental though and that is where Sheed habitually comes up short. Dude had the *potential* to be as good if not better than Duncan. He's right up there with Coleman in terms of wasted talent.

When Rasheed was in Portland and he was motivated, he was completely unstoppable, especially that low post turnaround jumper.

However, he sometimes lacks incentive, and he falls in love with the 3 too much.

Well I guess the question is who is more "skilled" not who is better because that one is pretty obvious.

Of course, I'd still say KG pretty easily. Even if you want to say that Sheed has a more advanced post game (which he doesn't necessarilly), KGs ability to be the primary ball handler and passer on a team are so far beyond Sheed's that its not really worth talking about. Not to mention he is more versatile as a defender and much much much more skilled as a rebounder.

Don't get me wrong, when Rasheed Wallace wants to be a great player he can be. The turnaround jumper in the post that he uses once a series is a devastating weapon but the fact that he never uses it means it may as well not exist.

On the whole though, even if Sheed played his best for every game he wouldn't be as good as Duncan or KG.
