Thought I'd post this:
Chad Ford:

Chad Ford:
Golden State Warriors: Golden State is yet another team with a tough decision to make. They have a lot of players hitting free agency. Will their owner spend the money to bring Monta Ellis, Andris Biedrins and Mickael Pietrus back in the fold?
I'm also hearing that a combo of Brandan Wright and the No. 14 pick are available if they can get a veteran big man back in return or move up in the draft.

And in a related story....man kicks himself in the nuts.
If the Warriors won't go market value for Ellis and Biedrins....and or trades Wright and #14 and doesn't get a huge payback....then the message is pretty clear......FORGET ABOUT IT. If the big plan to be a farm team..to fumble about, win at a 35% clip and sell seats while keeping payroll low, then what's to root for?
Perhaps mullin-Nelson-etc have hit their peak and lacking any good ideas will desperately fumble about and hope to get lucky?
Perhaps C Ford just is spewing nonsense and what the Warriors DO may not be bold and brilliant but at least won't be stupid and reckless.
The Warriors did not showcase Wright...seemed determined to make him look like a bust. What's the sense of trading him at a discount to get another rook? Veteran big man? At Wright's pay? I just don't see that whole concept.
CENSORED... No comment.

I'm right with you on all of that rem. I have a hard time believing that they would trade Wright, judging from how Nellie was talking about the kid on the radio yesterday. Then again he is a world class bs artist and could be setting all of us up for the fall. It doesn't make much sense to get rid of him considering how much potential he seems to have and he's on a cheap contract for the time being. If we ditched him for a veteran big, I will join in the self nut kicking. Nellie does seem to have a thing for Love though.
