What Bugs Me the Most about Laker Loss

Post#1 » by Jammer » Wed Jun 11, 2008 10:52 am

What Bugs Me the Most about the Laker loss

is that Ray Allen only took 13 shots, scoring 25 points,

when he should have taken 25 shots, probably scoring 35 points, and winning the game ???

It was obvious KG, Pierce and House were off early on.

KG 6-21
Pierce 2-14
House 2-8

Why in hell didn't COACH RIVERS simply tell Ray to let them fly in the 4th.

It's not like if he missed there was someone else on the floor who could hit a basket Tuesday.

The players would have understood, it's called riding the hot, and only, hand.

Run screens, get Ray to the free throw line, WIN the damn game, and keep the brickers from bricking.

The one move I actually credit Rivers with is realizing that despite Eddie House's 2-8 showing, that the TEAM actually functions better with Eddie on the floor than with Grandpa Cassell and going with Eddie, who defenses actually have to defend behind the 3 point line.

All Ray would have been doing is what he did the first 11 seasons of his career.

What bugs me most is the poor perimeter defense. Sasha Vujacic should not go off like that, ever.

If Vujacic scores his average (8 ppg) we win this going away. Think about it. We played poorly on the road, had the refs against us from the start, Kobe got his 30, and it still took an aberration from Sasha to beat us.
It's still 17 to 11!!!!

What bugs me the most is LA won.

What is the average of Powe? Isn't that an aberration also. The stars are the constant, the role players are not.

Ray can't create his own shot that well anymore which is why he didn't get more shots. When Rondo goes down Someone else has to create a shot for Ray and its really not that easy to call a play for ray when you are forced to run the O through Pierce and KG.

What bugs me the most is that we let Kobe beat us almost by himself. Gasol and Odom were not factors, but we still lost. What also bugs me a little is that Tony Allen didn't even get a shot at stopping Bryant.

What encourages me the most, is that this was possibly the worst shooting night of Pierce's career, Garnett was a brick layer, and yet we still had the lead in the fourth quarter.

We are earth people on a spiritual journey to the stars. Our quest, our earth walk, is to look within, to know who we are, to see that we are connected to all things, that there is no separation, only in the mind.

 @Laker trolls. They care more about trolling on the C's board than posting on the Laker board after their season-saving win.
It's still 17 to 11!!!!
