Here's the injury updates.
1. Paul Pierce tweaked his ankle and his knee again. This is not good because it looked like his knee was getting better because he was guarding Kobe. He wouldn't have been able to do that with a bad knee. But he injured the same knee and also his ankle late in the game.
2. Perkins may be out of game 5 with a shoulder injury. This is the same should that he had surgery on. Not good.
3. Rondo also is still bothered has his ankle.

Amazing how we don't even need a full healthy squad to take down the Lakers 3 times so far, thank God we're facing them and not San Antonio. Finish them in 5.

Re: Paul Pierce tweaked his ankle and his knee again
If Perk is not 100%, I'd like to see Baby take some minutes from him tonight. He made some solid contributions at times during the regular season, he has size and strength to help exploit LA's lack of size/strength, good defender outside of foul efficiency (but thats not a bad thing about LA because fouls can take them out of their offensive rhythm), and should have more than enough energy to make an impact on the offensive boards.
Regardless of PP's health, TA should get minutes versus Kobe tonight. He obviously seems to be healthy, and he is our best wing defender. And Kobe should be expected to come out with intense motivation to dominate. Not only was he and his team embarassed the other night, but its father's day. Think back to what he did the month after his daughter was born years ago.
