I'll give it a try too

Theo should have kept Damon. Crisp sucks. He can play the field well, but so could Damon. Crisp can't hit to save his life. We should have kept that prospect guy we shipped to Clevland. And Coco's broke ass fro and cornrows suck

Damon sucks right now and he's about 3 times as expensive. Andy Marte is terrible.

Jacoby Ellsbury will be here soon enough.

Damon better than Crisp?

What year we talking here, 2007 or some arbitrary year in the past?

A Yankees friend of mine doesn't even blame Damon's woes on injuries. Quote: "He just sucks anyway."

It looks like Theo knew more than we did about that 4 years that Johnny wanted...

Well, somone has to stick up for him (like several did for Pedroia), I guess I'll be the guy even though I don't like him.

Crisp is **** awesome. Sure, he can't even hit better than me but his D has been god-like this year. I'm not even talking about the incredible diving catches he has made because he made them last year as well. His reads and jumps on the ball have been far better and his range is second to no one in the majors.

Coco for Gold Glove- it should be a LOCK.

Hey I'll stick up for him... he has been playing like a dirt dog with all of the diving catches and he can steal bases. Keep up the effort Coco.

Chach called us idiot in another thread. He needs to cut his ego down. I don't give squat if he is a moderator. You don't have to protect another moderator. He needs to watch himself.

He's not ready yet. He needs another full season at Triple A before he is ready to play in the big leagues. David Murphy looks like he is ready. But then again, he'll probably end up only being a 4th OF, so i wouldn't replace Crisp with him.

Yes

Eh, not so much.

David Murphy looks like he is ready. But then again, he'll probably end up only being a 4th OF, so i wouldn't replace Crisp with him.

Yes again. You could have said Brandon Moss instead of Murphy and then said move Drew to CF and that would have been acceptable. mahalo

Word to that, i'm looking for a solution right now though. Crisp + w/e for a 60 game rental in Torii Hunter?

Ellsbury will be there soon enough. I think Coco is overrated defensively...think about how much better he could be if he tracked down balls better...his speed makes up for a lack of judgement.

Really? I think he's been truly phenomenal. He's so much better than last year in picking up balls off the bat and his speed is elite. It's a good combination.

Agreed. Last year, I thought his D was overrated as well for the reasons 34C mentions.

This year, wow. He has really been just incredible out there. Great reads, unreal range, excellent glove. His arm still sucks but he has more than made up for it with those other traits.

Offensively; is there a hitter worse in the majors right now? As great as he has been defensively, he has been 2 times worse offensively. I really wish we could've had the Cleveland Coco Crisp offensively.

Oh well, at least Marte looks like a bust so far as well.
