Let's see if the youngster can out duel the Strikeout wizard.

Should be a good matchup, hopefully a matchup of future aces.

Edwar is a big upgrade over Brower, and Henn can't be any worse than Karstens. Definitely helps the pen. Edwar-Vizcaino-Joba-Mo is a very good bullpen.

Actually won't mind seeing a pitcher's duel, we haven't seen one of those in awhile.

Then again I'd prefer that we score 10 runs in the first inning.

Nice job by Phil by buckling down and striking out the side even with the back to back walks thrown in the middle of it all.

Is there any way I can watch this online? I'm stuck at work right now watching Sportsline. I love watching Hughes pitch and it kinda sucks that I can't right now.

Decent outing by Phil. Screwed himself over by not getting to first base faster on that play and ending the inning.

Nice play from Shelley in right to throw the runner out from home, wasn't sure what to expect from him in terms of his arm out there.

The O's own us, I go to school in Maryland and went to all 6 Yankees/O's games this season, plus I went to last night's game at the Stadium and the Yankees are 2-5 in those games. Maybe I'm just bad luck.

Also, if Betemit can't hit from the right side, why is he a switch hitter. Why not just turn him into a pure lefty??

Bedard is one of the best pitchers in the AL. Cabrera reminds me of a young Kelvim Escobar....if he can ever find 'it' he will be dominating. There really isn't any shame in going stagnant against Bedard, the rest of the league has been doing it all year.
