I couldnt find the actual starting line-ups, so if it ends up being different, then I will make the changes before game time. I just figured we needed a good game thread to give us some luck going into this series. After that AWFUL series with Detroit, its time for the Yankees to pick themselves up, dust themselves off, and get their asses back to work....WE HAVE A DIVISION TO WIN!!!!!

We need to make a statement and try to sweep these guys.Just last week we had Boston fans f'n nervous as hell. We need to put the pressure back on starting tonight

Alright....MELKY has been changed to CF, GIAMBI has been changed to 1B, and DAMON has been changed to DH........these changes have ben made pending the release of the starting line-ups!

Everyone needs to remember that Joe Torre was asked if Giambi's return would cut into Melky's PT....his response, "Melky Cabrera is our starting Center Fielder"

big series for you guys

i'd actually like you guys to sweep the redsox only because i think this rivalry/competiton/yankees trying to squeeze into playoffs is great for baseball. finally something other than barroids or steroids in general.
