I posted this on the Cubs board, but they weren't any help. Have any of you guys been down to Wrigley from the Milwaukee area? I'm just confused as to what trains to take and where to get off and on and what not.
Any help would be appreciated.
MD, feel free to lock this if anybody is able to provide good directions.

I posted my response in the thread at the Cubs board.
If you are driving down here I would suggest parking at Devry University. They have a huge parking lot there and they have buses there which transport you right down to the stadium and it is only about 5-10 minutes away from Wrigley and it is only $5.00.
Devry University is located on 3300 N Campbell Ave in Chicago, IL.
You may need to do a Mapquest for directions.

Actually parking at Devry is $6.00 not $5.00
Here is a good website on Cubs transportation:
http://chicago.cubs.mlb.com/chc/ballpark/directions.jsp
The Cubs operate a shuttle and parking service at the DeVry University campus located off Addison St. and Western Avenue for all weekend and night games. For $6.00 you can park your vehicle and all occupants ride the shuttle free to and from the ballpark. Take advantage of the savings with the easy in and out of our secure remote parking facility. The first shuttle leaves two and one half hour prior to the game. The shuttle runs for one hour after all Night Games and for two hours after all Weekend Day Games.

thanks a bunch. Not to sound stupid, but is the shuttle in the same place after the game as it is when they drop you off?

Yeah pretty much the same spot.
When you leave the stadium walk past the Wrigley Field Marquee and you should see a line of CTA buses across the street from the McDonalds.
They give you a ticket when you get to the parking lot and you keep that til you leave Wrigley.

I've heard driving down there is God awful (driving around Chicago in general is not fun). It looks like you SW already gave you good advice, but I heard the train is the best way to go. Sorry I can't tell you certain lines or anything, but I know there's a line that stops right by Wrigley.

Hey Cap Erv go to transitchicago.com, I go there at least 3 times a week to navigate my way around town.
Click on the "trip planner" on the top right hand section. Then click on the image that says "click image for trip planner". Type in your destination and your start area and your off. They give you several different options.
Some tips of advice, If it is 45 mins before a game, your pretty much screwed. Avoid everything. lol.
Ok seriously best thing to do is drive if you are going to be there early enough.
If there is some miracle that will let you PM me, I can give you a spot to park, but your going to owe me an e-favor for it.
Anyways good luck.
