Damn, they got one right.

Too bad that he was toast by the time the playoffs rolled around. They really could have easily rested him.

Those extra 40 innings won him the Cy Young but might have cost him a World Series appearance. Well, except for the fact that he was matched up with Beckett in the ALCS so he would have had to toss shutouts to even have a chance of winning. Anyway, C.C. deserved it.

I'm happy CC won, but it bothers me that Bedard only got 1 vote and Wang recieved nothing despite being the best stopper for any team in the league all year.

Proud of the big guy. His salary just went up a couple mil for next year and he is now likely even more gone from Cleveland than before, but Im real proud of the season he had. Nice to see him finally put it together for a season. Now the playoffs on the other hand...

Considering his performance in the playoffs compared to Beckett, you can only second guess. But whatever..for the most part of their season, I thought Carmona was more deserving of the two.

More $$$, means more cheesburgers for Captain Cheeseburger.
