Game 1: J Weaver vs King Felix

Will Felix go yet another game w/o allowing an earned run? STAY TUNED TO FIND OUT! :D

I just hope we get a win, and Felix continues to pitch well. I hate the Angels with all of my baseball heart.

So far so good in the top of the 8th. Raul 2 HR's so far, 3 RBI on 3-3 batting.

Starting to look bad with 1st and 3rd..up to the bullpen again.

If the bullpen loses this for Felix, I'll be extremely angry. He's pitched too well in 3 outings to not get a win.

I nearly crapped my pants when Matthews Jr came up with the bases loaded and 2 outs late in the game. Man, thankfully he flew out or I was going to break somethin.

The announcers were right; That game tonight had just about EVERYTHING.

Good to see Felix get the win. He really did pitched well, and was fatigued late. But damn, those first three at-bats against Vlad was just pure domination.

Oh, and I know I've been on Betancourts bandwagon for a while, but MAN I LOVE THAT GUY SO MUCH! :D He plays with so much heart and enthusiasm, he's always pumping his fist and getting excited.

Good win. Sexson and Wilks were huge in the 6th with the walk and hit.

Is it just me, or can we say we legitimately hate every team in the division?

Not just you PNF I hate them too. Great game last night man I do feel we have come a long ways since opening night, what a different team this is now. I don't usually get so up and down about a team so early in the season, but after Baltimore I thought this team did not have it. Looks like I was wrong and I'm glad I was looks like baseball this summer in the Emerald City!

I caught Friday's game on a TV at the Showbox with a bunch of other guys who were dragged to see Cat Power.

So far so good tonight. I'm fairly pleased with Silva so far this season...I didn't think I'd find myself saying that.

Sweet throw by Ichiro earlier in the game to nail Kotchman at the plate.

It blows that with 1 out, and the bases loaded, they couldn't convert.

Nice HR by Sexson...it was right down the pipe

Silva has been very solid for us so far....he is giving us innings and doesn't walk many batters which is exactly why we got him. I wouldn't be surprised if he ended up with 15+ wins.

Wow Raul with 3 HR past 2 games....he is awesome.

Can't wait to see Bedard close out the Angels tomorrow.

Is it too early to say "Raul Ibanez for MVP!!!"? :D :D

Great win. Damn I love beating the Angels. Didn't get to catch the game, but Silva gave up quite a few hits, but not many runs, and he hasn't been walking too many people, which I love.

Hope Bedard can close them out tomorrow. I'd love a sweep.

Silva also seems to pitch to what his park gives him. If there's no one on base, he seems perfectly happy to allow a flyball or two. Get someone on base however, and he's back to trying to get a groundball...right, Gary Matthews, Jr.?

This is the potential greatness of having Bedard, of the dividends of the trade. We win the first two games of the three game series against the Angels, and now we have Bedard going to the mound for the sweep. You feel like we're going to win the game. :)

So far its still potential, as he's scratched again with a hip problem. Some of the more prominent blogs make it sound like it has the potential to be a very severe issue that takes Bedard away from us for a long, long time.

Go Baek. Or whatever.

Why is O'Flaherty still in the majors?

Yeah...it's not O'Flaherty's fault that Morse decides to dive like a fool. His defense is comically bad, and he has no business being in the outfield. Absolutely none.

I'm also not sure what the hell Cairo was thinking on that play where he tagged third. Why run to the bag and then throw to first when you could whip it around the horn?

Not that any of it would have mattered anyway because the M's can't get anything going offensively against a pitcher who looks decidedly average.

This game features every bad trait the M's have...bad corner outfield defense, a weak bench, inability to hit bad pitchers, and a Vidro DP for good measure.
