Send him down to the minors. He needs some confidence. He has none right now. He also needs to work on a changeup.

I can't believe those **** booed him. He's 21, boo when he's the actual ace of the staff and he performs like this. I've never understood why the fans at the stadium feel the need to boo.

This is all on Girardi. You can't give your struggling pitcher your B defense. Molina should be catching, Hughes has some comfort with him putting Stewart out there can't help him. Damon and Matsui in OF doesn't help him. Those two runs in the first inning don't happen if Molina and Melky are in the game instead of Stewart and Matsui. The Granderson home run was his only real mistake. The Sheffield home run, looked like another cross up to me. -Jitpal

It's time to send Hughes down to AAA, get him ready or right, whichever one he needs, and bring him back up later in the season. He's getting rocked on a consistent basis now. Call up Rasner or Igawa.

He's getting hit around. He has no command of any of his pitches, and he doesn't have a third pitch. He is not MLB ready.

Getting owned by Kenny Rogers really makes my blood boil...I mean the guy openly used tar or whatever to take us out of the playoffs and we did nothing about it. Hes a top guy in my book as far as possible roid use.

soon, I think you will be changing your tune.. Hughes proved last year he belongs and did so even more in the playoffs..... I am still patient with the kids....
