Heya, I'm leading a debate for a class I'm doing and I chose my topic as whether or not the government should get involved with steroids in MLB. I know it's sorta broad probably, but not for the kids in my school, haha, they don't know much about sports at all. It would really be helpful if someone could possibly help me find some good articles. I need at least one that is for government involvement and one that is against it. It would be REALLY appreciated if someone could help me out, and if someone has any tips or links to some good information about the whole situation, it would really be helpful... thank you very much in advance and I hope to hear from someone!
Cheers,
Ben

The only justifiable reason I can understand re: the US government getting involved with this steroids mess is that MLB is exempt from antitrust laws, and thus if MLB can't reasonably govern itself the US government should step in.
I wish they'd focus on things more important than whether a couple hundred people inject themselves with drugs, but then again, given the general incompetency of government maybe it's a good thing they're using their time on something so insignificant instead of using their time to **** something important up.
