The thing I always saw, when he and Cadillac were being compared to the death was....
He's big, he's strong, he's super fast, he can catch, he can block... but one thing seems to be missing, one thing that defines great backs....
The ability to make people miss... he's just not good at it, he's a straight line runner....
I dunno, I thought he was overrated, because he seemed more like a physical freak than an elite back.

Sounds like a guy who will rush for 2000 in Denver
First the federal government borrowed money; then gave the money to Bank of America; then I borrowed some of that money from Bank of America and gave it to the federal government; then the federal government gave the money back to Bank of America.

I'll admit that some (most?) of his ills are related to playing behind one of the 3 worst OLs in football each of the last 2 seasons, but I've never been a Ronnie Brown guy.
I think what NO-KG-AI said is pretty accurate, but I would add one major detriment: lack of vision. He just isn't good at finding where to run or setting up his blockers. He got away with it at Auburn because he wasn't the bellcow back and could overpower DBs from Kentucky and Ole Miss. He cannot overpower LBs from Miami or DEs from New England.
