Check out these prototype helmets that some NFL teams have proposed in the past. I think I like the Dolphins one the best:

The Falcons helmets are ugly, all three of them. If you didn't tell me the team name I would have no idea what the hell it was supposed to be.

The Bombers helmet isn't that bad. I don't mind it at all.

I actually like the Bengals helmet there. Same basic design with the stripes except the stripe color would be orange instead of black with black being the main helmet color.

Don't really like the Browns one. I like their helmet with no logo.

That Lions helmet is hilarious. Really a horrible helmet, it looked like the Lion combed it's hair getting ready for its job as a used car salesman.

I love the Packers helmet the way it is. The other design is too dark.

I could have sworn that the Texans have used the white helmets at least once. Maybe not but I like it.

The Jaguars helmet isn't that bad but I don't mind the helmet they have now either.

Hound Dogs. Why would you name your team the Hound Dogs? Is it because of Elvis and the theme song for the team would be You aint nothing but a Hound Dog? Either way ugly ass helmet.

Well the Dolphins helmet is unique. I'm not sure how I feel about it. I like the one they have now better but I don't hate it.

I like the Jets helmet. Simple like the helmet they have just changed Jets to NY.

Oakland Senors. :lol:

It's sort of like their helmet now only it has more details. I like the one they have now.

I like the 49ers one.

I actually am a fan of the current Seahawks helmet but I like the silver one too.

Stallions. Ugly helmet, stupid looking horse and ugly colors to boot.

Copperheads. Man that is one UGLY helmet. Honestly it's the Oilers helmet only orange and green.

To be fair, a lot of these are only rumored proposals, not all of them are confirmed.

Trwi, you say you like the 49er one? You might be the only one since they were met with such disgust and gotten rid of so fast.

As for the Packers ones, I wouldn't mind seeing them trade in the bright yellow for something darker. They are the green and gold after all. I almost wish that the rumored changes that Ron Wolf proposed in the early 90's would have actually happened. Ive seen a prototype and I thought they looked great.

That Dolphin one is awesome compared to the crap they still have. Better colors would certainly help all around though.

The Bengals really should switch to those helmets.

The Lions one looks like a NFL Europe reject. Its sort of like the Lion king mixed with a piranha.

Seahawks, well thats basically their old one with the colors and logo fixed to match the new uniforms.

i want the ravens to change there name to the baltimore bombers just for the fact that'd it piss people off and cause people to say how "un-PC" it is

A very good friend of mine actually holds a trademark for a Bombers design for the Memphis basketball team. It features a basketball going thru a net, with a fuse coming out of the top of the ball and an airplane silhouette overhead with the bomb door open. It won some sort of fan poll they had when the Grizzlies moved there, but they never changed. You might be able to find it if you google it; the designer is Tommy Scott, former Atlanta Hawk (yes, the Hawk)

I like the Dolphins one better than what they have too.
