We really need to Stop the run and Force Garrard into making mistakes. On offense we need to move the ball and dominate time of possesion.
Go Pats.

i know everybody is now firmly lips-entrenched on the Jags d*** but i just dont see it.
Seymour will have his 07 coming out party and the receivers go NUTS. Jax is way too one dimensional to even hang imo.
Garrard will have his hands full with the D looking like the pieces of the puzzle are clicking into place(Seymour and Harrison hitting full stride and Adalius getting comfortable on the outside).
i realize im being one hell of a homer but it just doesnt seem like these people all over the jags have even watched the pats this year.
they seem to underestimate greatness and i think brady/moss/welker/mankins/seymour/you get the idea will show em what its all about.
and as a sidenote, where do you think their #1 receiver(williams/wilford) would rank on our depth chart??
i say they dont make the team, maybe take washingtons role on special teams but thats about it.
like i said, i know im a homer, but i just see a massacre on the horizon

I ended up heading to New York a few days earlier than expected.

Nothing in this game really surprised me. The Patriots were going to have their way on offense as long as they didn't shoot the moon and try forcing the deep ball. The offensive line looked a little bit better than it actually was thanks to Brady's quick-release passing plays but they were picking up the overloads on blitzes quite admirably.
A lot of people are making a big deal of the Pats supposed "mediocre" defense but, if you look back at the Patriots defenses under Belichick, they've had a history of playing the bend-don't-break style you saw on Saturday. The Jaguars have a good passing game and their receivers' size caused all kinds of match-up problems for the smallish Pats DBs. For the most part they did keep the receivers in front of them all game. And, more importantly, neither Fred Taylor nor MJD ran all over the defense. Remember how that was supposed to be the match-up problem?
