with free agency coming up in a few weeks and the draft in about 2 months i think we should begin taking a look at these players:

FA:
lance briggs
asante samuels
terell suggs
bernard berrian
alan fanacea
albert haynseworth(most likely franchised)
karlos dansby
marcus trufant
ken hamlin

our own free agents:

kavika mitchell
gibril wilson
jared lorenzon

were prob going to have 20-23 in capspace

some kids we should look at in the draft:

kenny phillips-if his stock drops we must pick him up
alib talib-cb
keith rivers-lb
dan conor-lb

heres to a good offseason and a hopeful repeat!

Shaun Rogers will also be available, as the Lions said that if they can't trade him they will cut him. He has had overweight issues but the guy can play. Don't forget about his 66yrd int return for a TD, one of the best plays I have seen a fat man done. Our DT gets the job done, but none of them really penetrates and breaks a double team. But I would like to make an attempt on Briggs.

I would like to keep Gibril Wilson, but like what happened to the Colts last year they lost a couple of key free agents, like Cato June.

Kawika Mitchell will probably look for more then the 1 million he made this year. If we sign Briggs, I would still like to sign him as he can be like a Justin Tuck 2nd string line backer to us.
