OT: Oh my... the Vikings defensive line! (Allen Traded)

How are we going to block against the Williams wall, and now Jared Allen?

We really need a solid line, I hope there are some really surprising releases after the draft.

Trade official via ESPN.

Considering Kreutz already had big time problems blocking the Williams boys, this is not good news for a team that already has seen its offensive line blown up in the offseason and has done ZILCH in free agency to make it right.

Good teams don't have to rely on a great draft to get better. Good teams don't have to rely on rookies to keep their QB alive and make holes for their RB. And here we are needing to go OL early and often in the draft. I wouldn't be surprised if the need for a WR isn't pushed back and see us go OT in Rd1, QB/RB in Rd2, RB/QB with our first 3rd rounder and OG with our second 3rd rounder.

THEN we'll see if some big names get released so we can further patch this mess up.

UGLY.

Hopefully a solid draft and a bunch of money will lure some FA O-Lineman here. Who's still available? It wouldn't be a bad idea to trade a future draft pick for a solid blocker.

Noooobody is out there in free agency right now. All the decent OL have either signed elsewhere, are restricted, or have been franchised.

Miami released LJ Shelton and I think Kyle Turley is floating around there somewhere but Fred Miller is probably just as good an option as those guys.

Adrian Peterson has given the Viking brass confidence to spend spend spend.

I'm scared.

I hope this isn't like the 90's playoffs where we'd stumble into the playoffs, only to lose to the Vikings, over and over and over.

If it makes you feel any better, they still have Tavaris Jackson at QB. Unfortunately, all he really has to do is hand off to #28.

As if we needed any more reason to spend our first rounder on an offensive lineman.

Let them spend all they want. They'll be our division's version of the Redskins.

They'll end up having to cut some quality players in order to pay these guys.

With Berrian taking another bite out of their salary cap money, they better hope no one gets injured.

Overspending very rarely accomplishes anything in the NFL. It works in baseball, though.

It's not like they're overspending though. They've had a tons of cap space the last couple of years and have only spent where they felt necessary. They overspent for Berrian but they didn't really overspend too much for Jared Allen who's arguably the best pass rusher in the league.

Cliff Levingston is jealous of the Vikings' roster right now.

Vikings have to be considered the favorite to win the division right now. Even with a crappy QB.
