Scott Parker decides to keep up the parade of cheap shots in the NHL by cross-checking Phaneuf acorss the face than appears to challenge him to fight while he lies on the ice. Which is when Godard comes over and drops the gloves.

Another cheap shot, another suspension im sure. How long?

Yeah it was a cheapshot, and he deserves a suspension but the thing that most disturbes me was what Quenneville said after the game. A reporter asked what he thought about the hit and he basically said he didn't mind the hit and good for Parker.

Well I am sure if Godard highsticked Smyth like that Quenneville would be bitching and moaning about how dirty it was.
