Im here to man up to my end of the deal. Laker fan.

Post#1 » by TonyMontana » Wed Jun 18, 2008 4:32 pm

When the finals started, there was a lot of Sh-t talking by both side, and somebody on here called out Laker fans.
The question was " If the Celtics win " "Will you come back on our board and give us props?"
I replied back that I would , so here I'am holding up my end of my bet with your board.

Props on your team for being 2008 CHAMPS
K.G , Ray Allen, Paul Pierce for the lond awaited Ring.
I give mad props to K.G and his heart as a true champion.
Doc Rivers for out coaching Phil Jackson.
And the Celics Org.

Now as far as MY BELOVED Lakers................
I am proud of my team for coming this far, since a lot of other peps never thought that this team will even make it to the finals.
As far as the return of the Rivalry I THINK ITS BACK.
Hopefully you we get Bynum back next year and we can make a run at it again, and make it a bit more interesting .

But again Congrads to the Celtics for the Chip .

AND I KEPT MY END OF THE DEAL......

See you guys next year........................................................

For someone who talked a lot of smack, glad you manned up and gave credit where it was due. Good luck to the Lakers next year, hopefully Bynum can help you guys but first you got to get closer as a team. You saw What PP, Ray and KG were able to sacrifice their games, I don't think that camaraderie existed with Kobe and his teammates this year. It can't just be the Kobe show whenever he wants to turn it on, it has to be the Lakers show, get what I'm saying?

Thanks Mang, I have no doubt that the Lakers Org will step it up even more by looking for someone with stronger defensive presence as well as Bynum returning .
But I still love my Lakers and I give them props for their achievements, we just got out huslted and out coached.

Your comparing three veterns that have indiviadually led their previous teams to a lot of Ws.
As far the Lakers , we are young but I see a great hope and a future in my team.
Both in Kobe, Fish and hopefully we can get some additional vets next year once we clearup some cap space and get a deeper bench.

The Celtics were the more deserving team. They played with desire and passion and never quit when most team would've. I have no problem saying they were better.

On a personal note I want to give props to some of the guys that were really cool to convo with.

Tony, that was me that issued the "sh*t talk challenge", and props for manning up and posting this thread.

The Lakers should be dominant next year with Bynum. You guys just need some veteran help - players that know how to not cave in when the going gets tough and play smart and physical. Looking forward to more wars in the finals, hopefully more challenging than this 6 game war. Good luck.

Alright this is getting way too chummy. C'mon, Celtic and Laker fans telling each other how great they are!!! What next, Obama and Hillary having late night "strategy" meetings?

So congrats on the championship and we'll be back, led by THE MACHINE, to beat the snot out of you guys next year.

And one other thing, Paul Pierce is an LA guy so we want him back. We'll trade you Luke Walton straight up for him. :D :D

I think you guys need a wing defender more than Bynum back to beat us.

I think with Bynum back it would only make the Celtics match-up better with you guys. Perk would find it easier to Neutralize Bynum than Gasol. Bynum can't out muscle Perkins, and he can't out quick him or pull him away from the basket like Gasol can. That's why I think he didn't have much regular season success with Perkins.

And i'm sure we all can agree KG wins the match-up with Pau. Artest would be great for you guys, but he'd probably end up strangling Kobe before the play-offs. We all know that Artest is a bit... different

Get out there with that weak ****. You were all over this board, talking mad ish, and also were calling names on your board, sucking to the mods and you think that now nobody remebers that?

Well guess what, you little kobe jocksucker? there is no rivalry. you're team got absolutely spanked, raped and straight owned in the last game of the Finals. They flat out quit and kobe was leading the escape party. You gotta put a way more juice to it to call it a rivalry. so if you said you're going to man up, get on your knees and take it like you're man kobe did.

this la poster has a LOT OF CLASS no doubt:

viewtopic.php?f=40&t=815165

First, we have TonyMontana's post that is quoted in the very last post, where he talked about another posters mother and called him an ignorant A55. Somehow 'ignorant A55" is okay, "smartass" and "crybaby", though, are bannable insults. I wonder why... Later in the thread we have someone banned for disagreeing about the popularity of Kobe and LeBron, where a mod tells two parties to stop. The Laker fan continues to post, baiting Farm Raid, and eventually bans him for mocking the blatant biasness in the moderating. That guy's profile shows he's still banned, over five days later.
