Remaining Workouts

Hoiberg was on KFAN and he mentioned the following things:

They're flying out to LA on Friday to watch Gallinari workout. They'll also watch Brook Lopez and Russell Westbrook while they're out there.

Then later that day, they're flying out to Chicago to watch OJ Mayo's workout. The Wolves were one of seven teams to get invited to his workout. The Wolves will be the first of the seven teams to interview Mayo. The Wolves would be unofficially the second team Mayo has talked to.

Then on Monday Eric Gordon is coming in for a visit.

And then Tuesday they're hoping they can get Joe Alexander to come in for a visit.

Hoiberg also commented that he thinks the rumor about Gallinari only wanting to play on the East Coast is false but he can see how since Gallinari played for Armani Jeans, he would want to market himself in NY/NJ.

Cool cool. I wish we worked out more second round prospects though.

I think that large workout we went to in Houston was for mid to late 1st rounders and early second rounders. It wouldn't be cost effective to fly out to see or fly in a second round prospect.

Yep, thats why we were in Houston...2 weeks ago? or last week.

Either way, I doubt Saturday is the last time we'll see Mayo. Maybe have one last ditch effort on either Tues. or Wed.
