In the summer of 2010, if Bosh/Wade/James opt out... and they can get a deal starting at 30% of the cap... 6 years in length... with 10.5% max increases it will look like this.
Assuming the Cap is at $66.67 million which is a fair estimate IMO
10-11: $20.0 mil
11-12: $22.1 mil
12-13: $24.2 mil
13-14: $26.3 mil
14-15: $28.4 mil
15-16: $30.5 mil
TOTAL 6 years $151.5 million
That's the type of MAX salary a guy like Bosh, Wade, Lebron, Amare...
Is this correct? We're going to see these guys with 6 year contracts worth $150 million?
2010 Max contract for Lebron/Wade/Bosh $150 mil?
2010 Max contract for Lebron/Wade/Bosh $150 mil?

Re: 2010 Max contract for Lebron/Wade/Bosh $150 mil?
It looks to be going that way, although I would say that your cap estimate might be a bit aggressive. With that said, even with the most conservative estimate of about $60M, the max contract would be $136.35M.

A-Rod is #1 & #2 on the list, pretty amazing.
Kobe signed the largest contract in the NBA @ 7 years $136.4M
