Hill Resigns with Suns

The Phoenix Suns today announced that forward Grant Hill has exercised his player option for the 2008-09 season.

Originally signed by the Suns as a free agent on July 11, 2007, the 14-year NBA veteran proved remarkably durable in his first season in Phoenix. Hill appeared in 70 games for the Suns, his most in a single season since 1999-00, including starts in 34 consecutive contests to open the season.

im glad to see hes loyal to the suns but hes one player i would love to see with a ring.Not sure the suns are his best chance at getting one anymore.

Spectacular news!

He's still a 16/4/3 type player and he plays some pretty solid defense with Phoenix. He's also a good backup ball-handler.

I was really worried he was going to retire; he had a terrific season and let's hope he can stay healthy because he was really missed against the Spurs.

I think Porter will be smarter with Hill's minutes than Mike D was so that Hill will be healthy heading into the playoffs. I think we really missed Grant Hill against the spurs.

Very nice to hear that Hill decided to resign for the suns hoping he stays healthy and can play in the playoffs this year we will need him. GO SUNS
