Pietrus Camp Expecting Call From Magic

Golden State forward/guard Mikael Pietrus, reportedly one of the free agents on the Magic's wish list, expected to receive a call from General Manager Otis Smith.

Bill McCandless, Pietrus' agent, indicated he expected the Magic to be among other teams to make offers for Pietrus, an athletic 6-6 defender and 3-point shooter.

Pietrus has long been the subject of trade rumors, and lost playing time in Don Nelson's offensive system last season.

The Magic are looking for help at their shooting guard position.

The free-agent courting period began Tuesday at 12:01 a.m.

I was being serious. If I could go back in time and print the screen. I would. It was on that Orlando Magic Sentinel home Page.
