I have been told by some reliable sources that the Magic are targeting Jarvis Crittendon. The Magic and Griz are discussing a Keith Bogans trade for him. They like Bogans because of his ability to to shoot the "3" and versatility to play shooting guard and small forward. Greg Buckner really didn't get the job done for them last year.

Memphis may or may not bite. They might ask Otis for a first rounder. Would you?

Anyway, they like Jarvis because of his size and long term potential. Plus, he and Dwight are already very famaliar with each other from their days together in Georgia. Jarvis needs work offensively but they feel that defensively he can be a force right now. Can you imagine us defensively with Jarvis and Pietrus in the backcourt? Mind boggling, isn't it.

With the vet minimum the Magic are targeting Anthony Johson. Jason Williams is probably second but he wants more money then the Magic want to give him so far. If these vets fall by the wayside and time starts running short if and or when Jamal Tinsley ever is available he would be an option too.

I dont believe it personally...Greg Buckner didnt play for Memphis last season either, hopefully his source is better than he is with the facts...

holy **** if we get crittenton for bogans i will take back any bad things ive said about otis

if all it takes is bogans and a 1st otis better do it, crittenton would be a perfect fit behind nelson and imo would supplant him as the starter within a year or 2

with lee and pietrus added, and apparently jj not leaving, bogans is redundant, we desperately need pg help

Nelson/Crittenton/Vet
Pietrus/Lee/JJ
Hedo/???
Lewis/Battie
Howard/Gortat

I dont think the rotation would go any farther than that, i think pietrus can play the 3 for a while while lee plays the 2, byars didnt show enough to make the team though i think he had a real shot if he hadnt sucked in the summer league

That would be awesome if we got this kid. He is only 20 years old and with the Grizz he put up very similar stats to what Stuckey did for the Pistons. The only difference is the fact Crittenton is 2 years younger. This kid has no ceiling as far as his potential goes. Of course I doubt we get him with just Bogans. It will probably take a 1st round pick as well. If I'm Otis I go ahead and give them our 2010 1st rounder, lottery protected and Bogans for Crittenton. Then I would try and sign Johnson or Williams to the VE. Of course I would also try and get Dooling to re-sign, but that seems like a lost cause.

SG Pietrus, Lee, Reddick
SF Hedo
PF Lewis, Cook, Augustine
C Howard, Battie, Gortat

He seems to be legit. He had the Pietrus story before Denton. He also said yesterday Nets were pushing for Dooling hard. And look what was released today, Nets may add Dooling on wiretap.

It doesn't mean this is gonna happen tho.

meh...still dont buy it...either way, Buckner, Jaric, Bogans and Mayo to split between the SG position and possibly some SF with Gay? hmmm

Wasn't he apart of the Mayo/Love trade? maybe they never really wanted him in the trade or something

if this goes down i'll be exstatic. but i'm not holding my breath. On the plus side the Anthony Johnson thing sounds good too! I like him a lot more than Williams.

Since you are his friend, tell him he improved this season. I used to think he was the biggest bust for this season.

If we got crittonton..I'd think this is the best offseason since we got juwan howard and drew gooden (green font)

Considering how crappy our back court was last year and what Otis had to work with, a Lee Pietrus Crit offseason would be an A+. There is a lot of athleticism, shooting and potential with those three.

B+/A- so far. I absolutly love Lee. Loved him on college. Air france is a great sign. I like him here more than Corey, no bull. We need defense at the two not more scoring. Of course you just dont pass on corey for the mid level. just cant.

A+ if we get critt. Kid is a baller, and has great size and athleticism. Being a good friend of dwight is lso a plus/
