Would you rather have Luis Scola/Carl Landry tandem or LaMarcus Aldridge, which is better?

Well, since Aldridge has all-star potential and Scola and Landry most likely do not, I'd have to go with Aldridge.

Not to mention he is a both Scola/Landry combined into 1....I'll take Aldrige eaisly as he can be the Rockets third scorer and this is coming from a Rockets' fan.

Aldridge, without much hesitation. I'd much prefer an all-star caliber big/below average backup than two average PF's.

Last year, Landry and Scola combined were better than Aldridge. They were better rebounders and more efficient scorers, mostly because of shot selection. Especially Landry, who was ridiculous at getting dunks and drawing fouls.

But even if you put them together they aren't as complete. Aldridge is just more skilled. He's a better shooter and passer, probably has more moves as a scorer, and he also has more defensive impact.

If we're judging just by names, I've got to go with Scolandry.

I dunno. Scolandry sounds like either an infectious disease or a crime, while Aldridge is something you'd flavor BBQ'd steak with.

If Odom and Walton can be combined into one player he'd be unstoppable.

Nah, Aldridge sounds like the name of a used car salesman. Scolandry is like the name of some hip, new club.
