Ok I dont know how many people would do this but I kind of like it for all teams:
Phil
Andrei Iguodala (S&T ~ 10.5m)
Reggie Evans
for
Luol Deng (S&T ~8.5m)
Anderson Varajao
JamesOn Curry
Chi
Luol Deng (S&T ~8.5m)
Andres Nocioni
JamesOn Curry
for
Wally Szczerbiak
Aleksander Pavolovic
Chi 2nd rd '09
Cash
Cle
Wally Sczcerbiak (13mil expiring)
Aleksander Pavolovic
Anderson Varajao
Chi 2nd rd pick '09
Cash
for
Andrei Iguodala
Reggie Evans
Andres Nocioni
Why:
Phil - They dont want to pay Iggy what he is asking for(~11mil). And they probably lowered the offer since the team will be post threat with Brand as the 1st option. This way they get Deng who is one year younger and a little short of his production but for short of the price they wanted to give Iggy. They get AV which will be a great backup for Dally and Brand and they cut Evans contract length. Curry adds depth where they are short, in the backcourt, and can turn in to a good pickup if Miller leaves the year after and Louis Williams becomes the starter.
Chi- Chicago is not really in a win now scenario and with the tough time resigning Deng and the talk of him signing the qualifying they get decent value I think. This way they get out from the horrendous Nocioni contract. They get their early 2nd back since they will be a lottery team. And Wally and their 1st could possibly get their post prescence with the guys who are expiring: Odom,Boozer,Marion, etc. Pavs and Wally will be a decent fill in at the SF until they get a replacement.
Cle- So Cleveland goes Keep James on this one. Gilbert Arenas said earlier last season Iggy was Scottie Pippen, well now it is his time to show it. In the process Cleveland gets the brunt of bad contracts in Nocioni and Evans but I seriously think Brown can make good out of them. I would consider trying a Damon Jones and Joe Smith for Bois Diaw trade(Only if that Josh Smith rumor isnt the Cavs) And Diaw start the 4 and Nocioni come in at the 3 and 4. Evans bolsters our rebounds that much more. Resign Delonte, use the MLE or backup wing or pure PG and the Cavs eat up the East.
Everyone will say never in a million years but I think this is pretty good. But thats why we are all fake gms on realgm.

As a Cavs fan I love this trade. Expiring, Andy and for pavolvic for a young player that put up 19, 5, & 5 last year. The other teams would not do this. Chicago is giving up Deng for basically nothing. Phil wouldn't do this because Iguodala is a better fit for their team then Deng. They already have a 3 in Young and I don't think that Deng can play the two where Iguodala can play it. I think that Ben Gordan would be the better fit for philly because they need some one who can spread the floor.

yeah no other team would do this beside us.
but hey, look at it this way.. we could deal directly with chicago and then only one team turns it down, not two.

Chicago says OH HALE NAW
Wally Szczerbiak is a bum, Luol Deng is a close to a 20/7/3 player at 23 years old (don't let the Bulls Titanic of a season that was 2007-08 full you). We give up the two best players in the deal and don't even get back a guy who COULD be the best player in the deal some day.
