The Atlanta Sports Radio/TV legend passed away in his sleep yesterday morning.
He was 68.
I remember mimicking him as a child when I was enamoured with the game of baseball. Of course, Michael Jordan/Dominique Wilkins changed that for me. And Caray actually started his career as the play by play announcer for the Hawks in 1972.
But nevertheless, Skip Cary will always be remembered.

He will be missed. Rest in Peace Skip you were one of the best. I hope Chip sticks around with the Braves for a long time. I know he is not as beloved as his father was by the fans. I couldn't think of anyone better to take over for Skip then his very own son. Perhaps Josh can join Chip in the near future.
