These players are also either on their way up or down in careers, but the great part about this tier III is that many of these players really help their teams grind out wins by coming in during specialty times of the game.

Tier III Players 1st team with 14 -23.99minutes
1. Jason Maxiell - Detroit 8.72
2. Louis Williams - Phileadelphia 8.25
3. Jordan Farmar - La Lakers 8.22
4. Carlos Delfino - Toronto 7.99
5. Fabricio Oberto - San Antonio 7.98

Tier III Players 2nd team with 14 -23.99minutes
1. Eddie House - Boston 7.85
2. Paul Milsap - Utah 7.77
3. Linas Kleiza - Denver 7.44
4. Chuck Hayes - Houston 7.41
5. Morris Peterson - New Orleans 7.40

2. Luther Head - Houston 7.33
3. Tony Allen - Boston 7.19

Here is the rankings players were taken from. not shown is minutes played.

Here is the ranking of the TIER III this happens to mix in 10 minute players also but in general this is the 14- 23minute players

I began designing computer programs for basketball coaches, leagues, etc. I then found something while I was making it that began to show far more about the game than I realized. I decided after a failed attempt to be signed on by an online gaming developer (I use to make anticheat software for online games) to turn all of my free time towards this.

To answer your questions these are not my personal rankings, it is however the output of a program that was designed. As far as Impact player program that was created last year. I will later tonite copy paste those results in here.

If I understand the minutes grouping, it treats guys a little unfairly. Is it a per minute stat? If it's not than guys like KG, who played 32 minutes a night will be unfairly penalized when compared to the 40+minute guys like LeBron and AI.

What I'd like to see is how different players impact varies before and after trades...For example, Kobe before and after the Gasol trade, Dirk and Kidd, LeBron before and after the big shakeup...

Here is the group removing endurance and durability. This will also help answer the per minute question that one of you had. This is simply each minute played a players impact. (As far as Kevin Garnett goes, he is dominating but the truth is Boston amazingly has shown to have the deepest team in the NBA. If Boston was to of lost Kevin Garnett for any amount of time the production levels of Leon Powe, Glen Davis combination should equate to about 70% of the value. Allowing the other starters to step up and produce a little more.) No team wants to be placed in that situation but Boston has shown it is very deep in paint players.
Tim Duncan miss was my fault, I will correct that, because yes he is in the top 5 on once durability and endurance for a center/pf is equated in.

I can break this down but not at moment, however it does show that Rudy Gay became a better player in Memphis than Gasol was as the leader. It obvious that Gasol played with more passion, confidence, and determination in LA.

As far as Kidd trade goes I can help a little there.
Kidd was the same player in NJ as he was in Dallas.
What Dallas lost was
Devin Harris whom performed just below Kidd
Desagana Diop whom amazingly is very productive on the court in many ways besides scoring points.
Jerry Stackhouse never returned the same and missed the majority of 2nd half.

Antoine Wright and Brandon Bass have filled in nicely.

No not really Jermaine is a Tier I player and Carlos is a Tier III player.
However Jermaine is actually just a solid starter and not a player that a team is built around. A team that builds around Jermaine can expect to win only 40-47games at this stage in his career. Indiana however realized that Jermaine is not worth the monies he is going to command. This again doesnt mean he doesnt produce it just means he isnt worth nothing more than 11-12million a year.
Much like Michael Redd doesnt produce near what his salary demands are.
Jermaine has very little durability at this stage in his career.

Remember Jermaine Makes 22 million per year...
