Sean May Questions

Post#1 » by cavsfan_osiris » Sun Aug 17, 2008 2:12 am

Is there any updated info on him?
Is he expected to compete for minutes this season?
Is he staying away from triple cheeseburgers?

8-) :o May is one of the big parts of the equasion for the bobcats to make the playoffs this year. They need 12/8 20mpg every night for a complete season from him.... unless they sign a veteran at the 4 to start..
Since we have heard nothing from managment about his condition or seen him on the floor, he could still be just a guy in a suit collecting his Millions sitting behind the bobcats bench like last year OR He could be good enough for a maximum of 20 minutes a night. He will never be the same as he was on the tarheels.
Thats why we need to sign at least a FA 4 before camp. we may be too late even for that now.
I think Bob has heard me over the last 3 weeks with my "brainteaser posts" Check out the latest on the Haslem threat and Clocks ticking.. ITS NOT TOO LATE TOO MAKE VETERAN TRADE FOR the 4..
Bob knows who I am and sooner or later will listen. He wants to sell tickets and wins sell tickets..

It's so disappointing how his career has gone. When he didn't have a suit on the guy could ball. He has a lot of heart and is much more skilled than I thought he was going to be coming out of NC. If he had stayed healthy things would be a lot different in Charlotte. They might have had a couple looks at the playoffs by now, definitely at least one, that's how important I think he was to the team.

I can't say that his lack of conditioning played a part in his injuries, but it's disappointing to see a talented guy hit the buffet instead of the weight room.

There was an article via UNC about May not too long ago saying he'd been working out with their trainers and that he'd actually brought his weight down somewhat.

We need him, and hopefully LB has a good enough read on his knee to know whether we can count on him for minutes or if we need to make a move.
