Favre to Vikings...Next Year?

I know that profootballtalk.com has a lot of made up rumors on it but I thought this article was kind of interesting.

He does make a valid argument that Favre could play out the string this year and then go to the Vikings next year.

Frankly, I don't think that will happen. But if it does, then it shows that Favre really does dislike TT and MM.

Favre to learn another offense, coaches, area, relocate his family? Plus, Favre would have to be awesome for the Queens to want to take that chance, which makes it more likely the Jets would want to keep him. Doubtful.

Don't forget, the Jets would have to pay him $13 million next year. Don't know what their cap situation will be like next year but I am sure that's a consideration.

I don't see him tanking a season for the possibility he plays for the Queens at age 40.

What does the trade contract say? I know that if the Jets traded him to anyone in the NFC North they would have to forfit 3 first round picks. Does that trade addendum have an expiration on it or can they do what they please with him after this season.

As long as he's a Jet they can't trade him to the NFC North without giving us the 3 first rounders. If they RELEASE him after this season he can sign anywhere he wants.
