Anyone wanna play a game?

Post#1 » by timd1218 » Wed Sep 17, 2008 2:15 am

Alright guys,

This board isn't that busy and I am trying to think of ways to get it active and keep it that way. What I was thinking about doing was this:

Each week for the hockey season, we can select a certain number of games. What each person will do is, for each game that is selected for each week, they will pick the score and who scores for each team.

If you guess the score correct, you get 2 points. Then you get a point for the number of players you correctly guess for each game. If you get the score right and all the players who scored correct, you get 5 extra points.

Now, to select the games, each person who wants to play can nominate 5 games for each week. The top 3 games will be the ones we all guess on.

Of course, if anyone else has any ideas, feel free to add them.

I know what you're thinking. We're in the middle of a city, what's a hawk doing there?

I like the idea, though I'd make a few tweaks. Choosing who will score is gonna be next to impossible. What if every night we do every game, pick a winner and the final score. Get the winner, you get a point. Get the score right, you get 4 points, or something along those lines.
