That article makes no sense at all. Has anyone ever seen a team renew a player's contract when he still has 3 years left? CSKA will probably offer AK a **** of money, but in 3 years, not right now, just like Sheik said.

As an owner of AK in a fantasy league, that's a relief to hear.

The Jazz let Fisher out of his contract. Stranger things have happened. This year wouldn't make sense. But next?
If AK wants out, maybe Frugal Larry says "Hmmm..."
Cha-ching!!

Utah didn't let Fisher out of his contract. Its so annoying that its been a year and people still don't have the facts straight. AK cant get out of his contract like Fisher did. Those were extremely special circumstances and it was up to the NBA not the Jazz or Fisher to terminate his contract.

This isnt Football where you can cut players at anytime with small ramifications.

^^ Okay. Thought it was a consenting adults, kind of thing. Didn't realize the NBA had to bless it. AND it wouldn't make sense for the NBA to send more players away than have already gone.

Fisher asked team owner Larry H. Miller to let him out of the final three years of his contract forgoing the remaining 20 million left on the deal. Miller agreed. So did the NBA..........The NBA indeed has to approve. But had the Jazz not been willing to release him from his contract, the NBA would not have bought off on it.

Thats a pretty obvious point there tankster.

Can you imagine how screwed up our Cap would be with him here?

I'm not up on the latest with the Jazz, but I thought if AK wanted out of his current max deal, the Jazz would be only too happy to acquiesce?

That's what most Jazz fans think too, however the Jazz were offered Marion for AK which would have given them salary cap relief far sooner then keeping AK will, and they turned it down. They must have something planned.

Yeah its called LHM is a dumbass who wont admit mistakes.

Listen AK is much more talented, but he is this generations Ostertag. Will never live up to his contract yr and will always be overpaid and pouty.
