Anyone watching this Cavs Vs Celts game on Fox

Post#1 » by TheOUTLAW » Thu Oct 2, 2008 1:53 am

It's from early last season when the Cavs still had Gooden and evidently no Hughes. LeBron was an absolute monster in this game (scoring 11 in OT). Sasha was making shots (man, I hope he's doing this again this year) and was making good plays on defense. No Varejao, no Hughes and they still won. People keep arguing that it was a fluke that the Cavs took Boston to 7 but fact is, the Cavs gave them everything they could handle all season eventhough the Cavs were short handed in the majority of those games.

Great game

I also think that was the last game before LeBron got injured, cuz the Cavs went on a 6 game losing streak right after it.

I watched it, and remembered every play like it was yesterday. When Sasha hit that huge three I got a big smile on my face, and then when he turned up the D on Ray Ray I couldnt help but get excited to see just what he is capable of this year. Leisure Suit Larry was in a suit as was Hot Donny, but it didnt matter. This was also the game that Damon told Big Baby to "Shut your fat ass up!" Hilarious. This was even the game with Austin's best quote from last season. "We are the defending EC champs and we will be ready for you when you come to our house!"

We looked so good after that game, and there was definately a great buzz going on about the team.... Then Detroit happened the very next night, and freaking Nazr put LeBron out. It took us a long time to regain any of the momentum we had coming off of that huge Boston win after that.

Man, that's kinda funny Damon saying that to Big Baby. You have to have some balls to say that to a man who is as huge and as built as Big Baby is. He is like a tree. His arms are thicker than my legs. Lol.
