OT: How does Allema Harrington have a job?

If you people ever bitch about Bolerjack or Boone just be happy this guy doesnt do play by play. He is just god awful. He knows barely anything about sports outside of being a 5th string rb at BYU 80 yrs ago and sits on talks about spa treatments, how he is 5th cousins with the Rock and facebook all day. I sh^+ you not he and Fox talked about each others facebook accounts and how Brian Johnson has more friends then them. They need to just bypass powerhouse on the radio with ads or Trico and Van Pelt. He and Dave Fox are just the worst thing on radio and thats including monson and graham.

^^^ I agree 100%. I hate Alema and Fox too. It just baffles me that they continue to stay on the radio and TV.

I would imagine it is because he has a fairly impressive resume, a wide network of associates, and mild good looks. Look at the sports community in Utah, it is pretty tight knit. Not a lot of new faces in the last 20 years... everybody is recycled through.

Steve Brown is even worse imho.

David James is the only guy on local radio I like to listen to. I will listen to Locke just because of the amount of time he spends talking about the Jazz and the Jazz related guests he gets to come on.

The worst thing about them is Allema and Fox hardly ever stay on topic. just the other day I was listening to them and they were going to talk about the Jazz on the next segment so I waited for the commercials because I had heard plenty about college football and BYU/TCU and wanted to hear some Jazz news. So they come on and they talked about Lou Holtz and did stupid impressions on the air....Not one comment on the Jazz....not one. These guys have to go I'll start the petition.

Out with Fox/Alema!!!

Allema definitely has to go. Listening to him for too long will result in a loss of IQ points. If awards were given out for being the biggest idiot, he would with a doubt be the winner.

He's TERRIBLE!!! Fox I don't mind as much, but he needs a straight man to counteract his goofiness.... not an utter tool like Harrington.

The only thing worse than Alema Harrington on the radio (or TV) is Steve Brown. I'll even turn off a Jazz game if Steve Brown is calling it. Pace Mannion is also on my list of cringe-worthy Utah sports personalities.

DJ is a capable host and Boler, while bland, is alright, though he's 100x better at football than basketball. I find that when Boler calls NFL and collegiate games for CBS, I don't find much to take issue with at all.

+1 Steve Brown does Utah Utes basketball games and sometimes football games :evil:
