Preseason Game: Portland @ Utah

Games at 9 eastern.

Will your starters be playing tonight? (other than Deron). A week ago it was said that Oden wouldn't play on this half of the back-to-back. But, I haven't heard anything since, and assume he will play, along with Roy and Aldridge.

I imagine so, especially with the season starting in a week. I don't think we've really ever rested our starters. Our lineup will probably be:

Okur
Boozer
Miles
Brewer
Knight

I'm not sure if he'll start Knight over Price, but I think he may cause Knight has great ball control, and is a very efficient play maker. Kirilenko has been coming off the bench, and it might be a trend that carries over to the regular season.

It should be a good matchup. I doubt anyone will play over 30 minutes for us, but I think our lineup will be the same as the last couple games...

Blake/Sergio or Bayless
Roy/Rudy
Batum/Outlaw
Aldridge/Frye
Oden/Przybilla

Any chance one of you can stream it? Only one of our preseason games has been televised for us.

The Blazers are going to be scoring machines this year. We are going to have some great games with with these guys this year.

awfull jazz first half....
Shavlick Randolph and the Spaniards making jazz life miserable?
I definitely do not like what the Jazz did this preseason.

The Jazz look much, much better in the 2nd half. I think part of it has to do with Portland cooling off a bit from the 3 point line. They were RIDICULOUS in the first half.

CJ and Brewer really doing well. Boozer too. But he has got to cut down the TOs. AK really quiet so far.

First game as a Jazz man I saw the Brevin Knight I was expecting. He totally destroyed Portland's defense in the second half. Was good on the other end as well.

I'm a fan.

Great 2nd half by the Jazz, limiting the Blazers to 26 points. I really hope CJ builds some chemistry with the starters and develops nicely. If he does, this team is gonna be sick. We'll have a great starting 5 and 4 guys playing off the bench who can get votes for 6th man of the year. Gotta love Knight's 7 assists, 4 steals and 0 TO in 24 minutes.
