Eddy Curry trade with Stromile Swift ? and Al Harrington

Post#1 » by superemxguy » Wed Oct 29, 2008 12:20 am

Eddy Curry is not in the Knicks rotation.

Can we trade Stomile for him ?

We need a post offense .

What you think ?

Also Al Harrington, he can play 3 and 4 postion. He is asking for a trade.

I really like his rebound and scoring.

What do you think ?

Curry?!

Gross.

You might as well trade Swift for herpes.

Al Harr is alright, and he doesn't mess up our capspace, but he might interfere with the rotation, you know the minutes the young guys get.

Then again something like Swift and Boone might be decent, takes Boone off the cap hold in 2010.

Edit:I would rather have Lopez as our post presence any day of the week.
He has post game.

I like Al, but not on our team

I mean this in the meanest way possible...NEVER speak of the thought of having Eddie Curry in a Nets uniform EVER again!

If we're gonna move Swift, we'll move it for a guy in another position to free up more minutes for our young kids.

No thanks on Curry.

Curry is only going to get bigger sitting on that bench. He is done.

As far as Harrington, I wouldnt trade any young guys for him. Swift, Hassel, and Ager sure but that is it. I agree with Prelude.

Yeah I think its pretty much been said already that NOBODY wants curry on this team. I would love to have harrington though. if we can get him for a cheap enough price which we all know Rod can pull off i think he would be a great addition to this team. even if we had to give up one of our young bigs maybe like boone and fillers. harrington can fill the void left by richard jefferson very very well, hes also a jersey native which i hope would translate into "im proud to be on my home team and will play my hardest"

Haha my fault. I forgot the "not". I've been very vocal in the past on not getting Curry at any cost.

Would love to have Stromile on the Warriors!! Then I wouldn't have to worry about buying the league pass to watch the games!!

Curry is a good post scorer and a factor on the glass but he's never been good defensively. Harrington is a good shooter but he's also never been good defensively.

Swift is the best of these three players so the Nets would be silly to make the deal.

I'll give you credit Stro, you don't back down. I'll say he's better than Curry every day of the week, but big Al is better than Stro.

It's really funny and honestly disturbing how much this guy sweats Strome.

This is not meant as some sort of insult, but seriously, are you gay?

Do you have an actual crush on Stromile Swift?

Or are you related to him, or maybe a childhood friend?

I mean this goes beyond logic and even beyond being some sort of fanatic.

You are officially in stalker mode.

I have a man crush still on Chad Pennington. I'll defend that noodle arm till the day I die. Nothing wrong with it, except NOBODY can understand why, of all players in the NBA, Rag Time has a man crush on Stro.

Hmmm well I could open up to you, but you seem committed to mocking me anyway so I'll just continue to express what I perceive to be happening concerning the Nets and Stromile...

I understand you don't think much of him at all as a player, and I think he's an excellent player, so I just hope that we can keep any debates and/or discussions between us as civil as possible.

I'll do the best I can on my end... hope everyone on the board notices that you're being extremely disrespectful towards me. But it's all good... I don't expect you or anyone else to engage me in discussion or debate totally on my terms.

So instead of responding to your insults with some of my own toward you, I'll just say peace be unto you and may God bless you!

If we can't discuss Stromile in a civil manner, maybe we can discuss other issues on the team and have good conversation. As long as Swift's on the team I'll watch the games and throw my two cents in. Not that you're obliged to respond but if you're game it's a chance to develop a more civil conversation.
