Go Clippers! It's only 1 game!

Wow. We have gone through ONE game in the 08-09 season and your already talking about a move. I hate the Lakers but they are good and have been in LA for 36 years more than we have. We deserve to be able to play at Staples. Sterling put a lot of money into it. (I have worked with Sterling) he is a good guy and wants the best for this team! I was at the game. Were you? If you are such a loyal fan why aren't you at the game? We are going to be fine. We lost 1 game to a great team. We need to get healthy and acclimated with each other. I will NOT lose faith in this team. We showed signs of brilliance tonight as we will on Friday when we destroy Melo less Denver. Camby will be there and ready to play. Clipper Nation was not there tonight, probably due to unfaithful so called Clipper fans wanting to make an extra buck selling them to Laker fans. Shame on you. We will back in full force Friday!

Hopefully "it's only 1 game" doesn't turn into "it's only 5 games." We need Camby out there badly though.

Man I watched this game on DVR and I was like WTF. We had them blow for blow and then we had a bigger collapse than the New York Mets.

Time is our enemy now we need more practice than ever and to drive the system and their heads hard. Plus get Camby's B**** @$$ off the bench and man up and play. Plus Kaman grow some balls and a brain. I would say this loos disgraced the franchise but then that would be funny in itself. On top of that we can't blow-up the team beacuse this is the result of blowing up the old team.

Hey, come on, we knew all along that we needed everyone to be healthy for the team to make the kind of impact we hoped for this year.
Having everyone healthy is just something that hasn't happened yet, but it will.
We just need a little more patience.
Before long, Camby will be playing, and Baron's injury will be healed, and we will get a better idea of the team we have this year.
There's no point giving up before October is over. Things are going to get better for the Clippers. And surely by this time, we have all learned to have a lot of patience and hope. It often comes in handy, after all.

I think they're going to need a lot of games to get comfortable playing with each other. Hopefully, but that time, they won't be too far out of the playoff picture. Playing against teams other than the Western conference champs would help too....

I got to Staples Center around 7pm. They had activities going on outside and were giving away shirts and towels. I was really pumped up for the game. The arena was packed, and I would have to say it was 50% lakers fans and 50% Clippers . After the starting line ups were announced, Baron took the mic and walked on the court to address the crowd. He said that this was a new season and a new team that was going to change things around and play well.

Things looked ok as they started off. TT sscored the first 7 pts. Clippers looked active on the defense as they had steals and blocks which started fastbreaks. Everything went downhill in the 2nd qtr. WOW !!!! WTF happened?? Lakers fans were stomping the D.Davis t-shirts that were given to everyone that was there. Luckily I was sitting next to Clips fans. It was a rough night, the Clips looked fustrated as well. Kaman had a horrible game. i lost count of how many times he lost or threw away the ball. He was doubled and tripled teamed just about every time he got the ball, which led to him fumbling and creating turn over after turn over.

It was only 1 out of 82. Time to move forward and bounce back tonight vs DEN. :rock:

Good thing the NBA season is so long. It really matters how we're playing at the end of the season not the beginning. The NBA season is a marathon, there's plenty of time.

Kaman has been getting that type of response in different places. I haven't heard/read anybody say that about BD.

Where do you come up with that number ? The Lakers have been in LA for 61 years and only missed the playoffs 4 times. So our dominance has been more then that.

Sterling is a TENET ONLY" and the only money he's put in it is paying the rent he owes AEG monthly.
