Kobe/Bosh Deal

Post#1 » by TR50 » Sat Nov 1, 2008 9:53 pm

Roto, 10 team league, cats are the regular ones except its 3PT% not 3PTM.

Deal is this:

Kobe+Moon

for

Bosh+Auzubuike

I have the Bosh side, I'm loving bosh and sorta want the big man too. My team is posted in another thread and am having a hard time pulling the trigger. Anyone wanna convince me to do it?

I give a huge edge to the Kobe side. It's not close.

It's a no brainer in terms of value. Kobe is definitely up there. But it's also hard to find a big man that is solid in % for a roto league. But still, Kobe is too hard to pass up.

Wow hard to pull this one for either side. Kobe is a monster but I can see his statline suffering for two reasons. Lakers will probably be involved in a lot of blowouts so he won't be playing as many minutes and the overall talent trying to get Bynum, Gasol, Vujacic, Farmar, Odom, Vlad all need shots.

I'm like Bosh this year because of the JO acquisition. I think he puts up career numbers. Still I might be too scared to let Kobe go.......
I'm so tired of the typical......

Kobe's numbers are definitely going to dip this year. I think he's still top 10 in fantasy, but outside top 5. I see his numbers dipping in a similar way KG's did from last year. This is due to blowouts, potential injuries and teammates relieving Kobe from doing everything.

Bosh on the other hand has been AMAZING so far (granted small sample size). So all in all some may say you get more value getting Kobe, but that's pre-season value, as it stands I think you should hold onto Bosh.

UNLESS of course, there's some Kobe dickrider out there in your league whom you could completely ripoff for dealing Kobe away.
