SI makes no sense in latest poll

Notice from the prior week we go down a spot!

17

PR: 16 Indiana Pacers
Danny Granger didn't waste any time earning that five-year, $60 million contract extension. The fourth-year forward lost two teeth diving to the floor for a loose ball Saturday night, but stuck around to finish with 20 points and lead his Pacers (minus Mike Dunleavy, out with a sore right knee) to a 95-79 thumping
of the Celtics before a sellout crowd at Conseco Fieldhouse.

I know its only a poll, but bad journalism.

Eh these things are always poor. How can you really rank teams when they've only played 2-3 games? Regardless of who we beat, we're still 1-1 as well. If we were 36-0 and 16 in the polls it would be something to write about, but you can't really argue against dropping a spot when you've lost since the last poll came out.
