Prepare to be straight up embarassed.

Hopefully this isn't a painful game to watch again, filled with a sick amount of bad shot selection, poor execution, fouls on both sides of the ball and numerous silly turnovers.

All I ask for vs. an elite team at home this early in the season is a well executed game with a lot of effort and intensity. An entertaininng game with some monster blocks and VC going off for 30 something on a decent fg%.

I want us to score a 100 and not be behind by 20 something the whole game.

Just hoping for us to be competitive, gain some valuable experience for the young guys and score some buckets, all while keeping it reasonably close so it helps build confidence.

I'll be switching between this & the pandemonium that is the US Elections. I'll probably watch Election coverage more than this game so if the Nets get killed early it'll give me even more reason to switch over until I get sick of it all and go back to the Nets game.

I would have liked to see this game but i'm going out with GF to see zack and miri. I rather laugh intentionally(watching the movie) than laugh out of pity(nash and amare combining for 60 points)..

we need to shoot a hell lot better, stop giving the opposition easy bucket...while not forcing shots...but you come to expect this from a young and anxious group...

The biggest concern is obviously the frontcourt play.
Brook needs to stay out of foul trouble here which is asking a lot of a rook going against 2 of the best big men in the game. If Brook goes out we'll have to give boone a helmet for all the balls that are gonna be dunked on his head.

Given how many fouls we're gonna give, maybe Sean will get some time today. And when he does, he better play well. Or at least fare better than boone against them.

and unless he's going to make up for his lack of ability to guard those guys by making it rain buckets, i dont see ryan getting in this one much either.

it would help also if the guards could put pressure on their big guys and get them into foul trouble. I'm assuming thats what the dribble drive should also be able to do.

We would probably need to play a near perfect game relatively speaking to win this one. It's possible though. Level headed but optimistic. I

The key to this game is Devin Harris. He HAS to penetrate so our shooters can get open shots. This will cause the suns to spread the floor. if this happens I'm positive that we can keep this game close.

Devin should be able to take Nash off the dibble consistantly. Front court is going to have their hands full. Lopez should face up and take advantage of his touch against Shaq. I think we play with good intensity but lose by double digits. The game will feel alot closer than the actual score.

Gonna be 2 very very hard games, nearly impossible baring a miracle we're not gonna get the W's still Im not upset.
This is the luxury of rebuilding you start off with very low expectations and in a win-win situation.

This is exactly what I was talking about and am hoping for.

A win would be lovely, but I stopped taking acid along time ago.

Just keep it competitive and drop some buckets.

Yeah it's gonna be tough defensively. I'd personally start Lopez and give him a first hand look at Shaq. Oden vs. O'Neal? Let's go for Brook vs. Shaq! Although Brook vs. Robin off the bench should be fun too.

Will we see Boone's supposedly new found jumpshoot? Shaq has been historically a bad pick and roll player, so that can be taken advantage of if our bigs can hit their shots.

i don't like to hate on Vince but 3 on 2 fastbreak, Harris in the middle, Boone on the right going towards basket, left side open, vince would had a layup or maybe draw a foul but goes to the corner for a three, like he has been doing for years now. I just dont know why he hates easy baskets.

If only Harris knew that he had a left hand he'd have made at least two layups right now.
