NJ/WSH Trade Proposal

What do you guys think? We address a need at SF with a starter. He provides scoring, toughness, and defense. We pick up a big in Thomas who plays hard all the time and looks healthy after a heart scare.

Washington gets an expiring contract in Swift. Simmons can start in place of Butler or they can give more minutes to Nick Young. They also get an athletic Sean Williams who could be a stud in the right situation.

Was just foolin' around with the trade checker and thought I'd share. Comments/thoughts?

Dude I'd do this in a heartbeat. Washington would never do this in a million years though.

Thought the same thing, but they just re-signed Arenas and Jamison. Caron could be the odd man out, especially depending on how Nick Young progresses. There's no one we could add to sweeten the deal really besides Ager as another expiring.

We could add to the deal and get Blatche, if we part with Boone as well. Regardless, I think Washington is an ideal trading partner. They could use some help with a big, we could use a defensive/scoring wing.

Just proposed this in the Wizards board.

"The only considerable package for Caron+Thomas would be Yi+Carter+Lopez"

I don't blame them. This was a terrible offer for Butler.

and there's is MUCH more realistic. HAHAHA!

My whole premise was they need big help, we have a plethora of them. Talent-wise the deal may not be attractive, but they save money. Honestly, is Caron in their future if they just signed Jamison and Arenas to those huge contracts?

Yes that is a herondus offer for Butler, but the counter offer is worse.

Caron is an awesome player, but what a lot of people fail to realise is he is crazy injury prone.

On a side not I could see a Butler for Crash swap going down.
