Whats going on with this board these days? We used to have 25 page game threads, interesting discussion topics about players, and even silly rumors as food for thought that i found quite entertianing true or not.... these days the reads are so stale! What gives? When we were playing terrible this board was awsome with new topics every hour and I know Im not the only one who misses it. Where is everyone? Is it the new crappy format? The honeymoon after finally winning a championship? Is there a much better board out there? What the hell happened?

well almost nothing. people still found things to complain about but after the last 2 wins even those people have become quiet.

There is only so much you can talk about when you have a solid and returning starting 5, a rotation that has become set, a great record, the 2 draft picks where they should be (NBADL), a full roster, a known future move (Cassell moving to active status). I think at this point it's mostly become a discussion when something isn't working, because when things are working the way they should then what do you say about it?

Personally I've never been a big game thread guy, I'm pretty focused on the game. Other than to tip my pint or grab another chip of course.

I used to be all over the game threads complaining for this, that , and everything, but now there's nothing to talk about. We have a set rotation, win almost every game, and even if we don't win it's ok because we're headed for a 1 seed in our conference. I also got season tix so I am here way less often.

i think alot of the board conversations revolved around the whats and what-if's of a basketball team

what if we made the playofffs
what if al jefferson avg. 20-10
what player is danny ainge talking about
what if tony allen can't recover

i think the lack of discussion revolves around the general lack of questions, as a basketball team we are at a pinnacle right now, we have great players, a great coach and a great gm. there just isn't too many questions that people have out there. and the ones people do have the discussions and answers aren't imperative because we are winning.

Well, if thats the case, i'd much rather have a winning record with a great team, than a busy board.
