Inquiring about Darko..

I was looking up Darko's stats on ESPN and it said this about him: News: Milicic said he might return to Europe after his contract expires in 2010, the Memphis Commercial Appeal reports.
Spin: He said he is unhappy with the way his career has gone in the NBA, especially the fact that he has been cast as a defensive specialist with his offense ignored. His role has been further diminished this season with the emergence of Marc Gasol and Darrell Arthur, and he has averaged just 17 minutes a game."

Got me thinking- if he's really that unhappy would you guys be interest in a trade for him?

Eric Snow (if it's still possible to trade his contract, trade checker still has it available), 1st for him? Or would you do just an expiring contract? or Sasha Pavs? I'm not sure about your wing depth but he can step in and provide some defense and 3 pt shooting (as shown by tonight) but he really hasn't gotten much run this year in Cleveland with the emergence of West as SG and Mo getting most of the time at PG. So I guess i'm just wondering how much you guys value him.

Edit: Actually, I would probably want to keep Sasha- him and Darko could be best friends and talk Serbian and all that. (Plus I couldn't work out a trade in the trade checker. )

at Darko's comments - or at least the writer's recap of them. His offense has been ignored? That's alittle like Conley saying he's upset the Grizz have ignored his outside shooting ability.

As for the trade, upset or not, Darko does have a role as the (only) backup big on the team - I wouldn't could Hak as a big myself. So it would seem to me that the Grizz would need at least a big body coming back in return for Darko.

Hmm.. what about Eric Snow and Darnell Jackson (he's like a PF, but has a big enough- or should i say wide enough- body to get a few minutes at center) for Darko?

Darko's worth more to the Grizz than that, IMO.
