The Forgotten Man, Earl Bennett
As we all know, one of our glaring needs is WR. Some say we should bring in Housmandzadeh or a cheap vet via FA, and others say we should draft. In that case, where would that leave Bennett for next year? Watching his highlights and reading his scout reports, the guy has great hands and speed and is good at YAC. I figure we're going to keep Hester at WR since he has shown flashes of his potential. Davis and Booker should be as good as gone. That leaves Lloyd, who I think is a 50/50 chance to stay because he's had some productivity but he's only played 11 games and we've really haven't seen much of him. That leaves us with Hester, Lloyd, Draft Pick/Free Agent, and Bennett. Will Bennett get a chance to play next year or is he another wasted pick?

Re: The Forgotten Man, Earl Bennett
We had a good discussion going on Bennett a while back. The fact he couldn't see the field outside of special teams with the state of our WR corps speaks to how little the staff must think of Bennett. I think he had some drops and perhaps some route running issues in camp and never found his way out of the doghouse from there. That being said, he's a third rd pick and Lovie tends to red-shirt a good number of rookies anyway so I'm sure he'll be given EVERY opportunity going into next year provided he doesn't come to camp 30lbs overweight or something.
Turn down for what?

He was actually thrown to in the Houston game. After Davis' terrible/awful outing where he had all the drops, he started to see the field a lot more(how much, I don't know. But I'm going by what the announcers were saying)
