What are thoughts on a Caron Butler - Rudy Gay deal?
Caron is 28 and has 3 years left at a good price (8-9million).
If you wouldn't do it then what would push you over the top? Perhaps switching picks this year or another player? If you would do it then what else could we squeeze out of you? Kyle Lowry? Would you be willing to take a salary?
That said, I've no real idea of your future plans for your team. Are they going to pay Rudy when the time comes and what positions are you looking to fill? Thank you.

Re: Wizards trade proposal
What are your reasons for wanting Washington to switch Butler for Gay? Is it because of a lower salary? Talent? Age?
Caron Butler is a proven commodity in the NBA, and a player who always comes up big when it counts in games. He is a better rebounder, defender, and leader than Rudy Gay, not to mention his scoring numbers. I would think the Grizzlies would make that swap. Afterall, Memphis needs that battlehardened player that can make the difference in pressure situations in fourth quarters, an area that Memphis struggles with.
I honestly don't see why the Wizards do this other than if they are committed to a rebuild.
