Matrix/AI Deal

Post#1 » by TR50 » Fri Jan 2, 2009 9:23 pm

Deal was the following:

Marion
Thaddeous Young

For

Allen Iverson
Marc Gasol

I got the Iverson half of the deal and am in need of points, i have pretty much everything else covered, need the points and extra steals/assists do not hurt either. I felt that gasol can compensate for blocks and some rebs but i'm pretty well off on rebs.

What do you guys think?

Oh its a roto league..

Good deal given the fact that you're in need of points. I'd rather have Iverson than Marion at the moment (although both are underperforming) and Gasol has been starting recently with Milicic out.

Darko's injury will only boost Marc Gasol's value, he's been putting up solid point/reb/stl/blk numbers, with the latter 2 of the 4 being premium categories.

Nice move!

Solid deal if you need points, but I'd prefer the Matrix side. I traded AI for Matrix a while back, and I had to basically throw in two decent players to make the deal go.

I can see Marion improving his defensive stats and efficiency, especially if Miami ships him out, but I can't see Iverson getting enough looks at the ball to be anything but a bust for the position he was drafted at.
