Football in 3D

I looked back a couple pages and didn't see this mentioned anywhere. So apologies if I missed it.

A couple weeks ago, Cinedigm showed the Raiders vs Chargers in 3D in a movie theater.

Here is someones review

They're going to be showing the BCS Championship game (Jan 8) and the NBA All Star game (Feb 14) in some movie theaters. You can check the Cinedigm site for locations if you're interested. Tickets cost $20 from what I've seen.

I really want to see what it's like so I'm probably going to go to the BCS showing. If it's good then I'll check out the All Star game too. If I do go I'll let you guys know what it's like.

I'm not sure if it was in here, but I remember reading something about the BCS Championship being shown in 3D. That would definitely be something I'd be interested in watching, and since UF is playing, I wouldn't mind making the trip to Gainesville (1-2 hours away) to go see it.

The All-Star Game is a pretty cool idea, too. I think the dunk contest might be cool in 3D.

Now that you say that.. I think that's what they're showing, and not the All Star game. That's even better.

I just checked..

The Rookie Challenge is on the 13th
Three-Point Challenge and Slam Dunk Contest on the 14th
All Star Game is on the 15th

So yeah, we'll get the 3 point and dunk contest in 3D. Pretty sweet.
